New Year’s Resolution
My 2014 New Year’s resolution was to create awareness regarding the problem of diluted mixed bred dogs, from Weimaraner/Labrador descent, being registered by the American Kennel Club (AKC) and other kennel clubs as purebred Labradors. I think we’ve come a long way this year, but there still is a lot of work to do. Labrador breed clubs, parent clubs and Labrador breed committees need to take a firm stance against these practices of the Kennel Clubs, and the only ones who can make them doing that are you, the members (or members to be) of these clubs. So, if you would make this your 2015 New Year’s resolution, you would make me the happiest man in the world.
